Hasty Philosophies is the equivalent of a modern demo tape. It was created over three days, and consists of improvised instrumental sketching, warts and all.

All tracks were recorded in the order you hear them, and the album is meant to be heard from start to finish. Some additional mixing and clean-up was done for wide release, but for the most part the tracks you hear are exactly as they happened.

After recording these tracks I listened to this on and off for almost a year. I learned that it syncs nicely with driving, walking through downtown Seattle or doing anything where thoughts carry the moment.

I‘d love to expand and improve these tracks, and they could certainly use that. I've got a solid concept for a music video for Teledildonics Startup that may one day happen. Seriously.

Until then it is rejuvenating to have found a brief moment away from my other obligations to create and release something as it occurred, without reworking or fussing over it for months and months. This is one of the most refreshing things an artist can do.

And here we are.

The cover artwork appears in its full glory on a t-shirt, available in a variety of colors and styles. Because I could.
